By thirty, I thought I'd have things figured out, but I find myself still gleefully learning. Anxiety, neuroses, and a startling degree of self-awareness; poetry, vignettes, and overly elaborate anecdotes. I'm a feminist, a teacher, a wife, a mom, and on my better days, someone who passes for a responsible adult. I do my chores, I go to work, I pay my bills. I get by.
